Meet Tom Hall

Starting his career off as an Electronics Tech in Communications for the Air Force, Tom Hall left his work with defense systems and satellite communications to pursue ministry. He has since returned to John Hall Electric to resume leadership of the Special Systems Division – a business line that was birthed over 20 years ago with security systems.

Since that time, the division has changed to include structured cabling, access control and home automation to name a few of the new technologies that John Hall Electric installs.
“This is simply a revolutionary period with electrical technologies,” states Tom.

“The technological advances are never-ending, and are all headed towards full integration,” Hall adds. The company can now install with very small category cables, what we used to do with quite a few analog cables.

“Now we can just tap into Internet protocol that is attached to existing LAN security, access control, fire, CCTV, and even Energy Management Systems and sophisticated temperature and refrigeration control,” furthers Tom.

Hall boasts about a wife of 37 years, two children and five grandchildren. He loves to travel, fish and golf when he’s not poring over new technology research or attending the latest certification courses (he is currently NICET and BICSI-certified).
