Dollar Tree Inc. chose John E. Hall Electrical, Inc. as the electrical contractor for their newest test store. Dollar Tree is expanding from their traditional business model into the Grocery line. The prototype Dollar Tree Market brand will offer groceries, supplies and a bakery. A 23,000 square foot store occupying the old Circuit City building on Portsmouth Boulevard had its Grand Opening in late March.

The John Hall Electric team began demolition to the conduit in November 2009 and moved on to the rough-in stage in January of this year. The lighting, heating and air conditioning are controlled by an energy management system. JHE electricians also ran wire for the refrigeration, ovens and office systems.

Hampton Inn South Oceanfront, Virginia Beach, VA
The JHE team provided all electrical contracting support for the newest Virginia Beach Oceanfront hotel. Work included the lighting, all interior wiring, and fire alarm systems for this 10-story, 144 room high rise. Our team completed the electrical requirements for the 5-story parking garage, all exterior lighting as well as the pool and outdoor recreation areas.

Harris Teeter, Virginia Beach, VA

Governors Point Vintage Tavern Restaurant, Suffolk, VA
The Vintage Tavern Restaurant involved a three-phase, 800 amp service. JHE worked with Dominion Power to locate the panel boxes in convenient locations for Quality Homes, Inc. — resulting in convenient and efficient power management. When the Vintage Tavern Restaurant wanted expert electrical services, they turned to JHE.
